Access AT

As an organization, you can access the following Assistive Technology services and resources.

If you need assistance, please contact us at 1-800-750-6355 or at dail.atinfo@vermont.gov.

EQUIPMENT DEMOS AND EQUIPMENT LOANS

Your organization and your consumer can access a hands-on demo in your local tryout center.

Your organization and your consumer can also access free 30-day equipment loans from our inventory to find AT that might be a good fit.

All of the items that are available to try or borrow can be found on our AT4ALL (pronounced AT For ALL) Vermonters inventory website.

Loans are shipped directly to you for free! Please note we do not sell equipment or provide financial loans.  We can help your organization find funding resources and access used equipment.

USED EQUIPMENT FOR THE COMMUNITY

Buying new Assistive Technology and Durable Medical Equipment (DME) isn’t always the only option.

We facilitate a used equipment marketplace called GetATStuff.com.

This marketplace is similar to Craigslist, where users post items that they have for free or for sale. You can also post an ad for items you need.

All of the New England states and New York participate in this exchange, so if something isn’t available here in Vermont, it might be available in a neighboring state!

For assistance, please call 1-800-750-6355 or email us at dail.atinfo@vermont.gov.

USED EQUIPMENT FOR SCHOOLS

Schools often have AT equipment that is not being used.

The Vermont AT School Swap is an online exchange, which provides a forum for schools to share equipment.

Vermont was granted a waiver by the U.S. Department of Education that allows schools in our state to share federally purchased equipment through the AT School Swap.

Some of the Assistive Technology or Durable Medical Equipment that has been shared include: tools for computer access, adapted art supplies, communication devices, wheelchairs, standers, and gait trainers.

Individual schools can sign up to be members of the AT School Swap.

Join by reading the full terms and conditions and submitting an Authorized User Form by email to dail.atinfo@vermont.gov.
